New Year's resolutions this year are to;
1. Do more self-directed work. One thing a month is certainly manageable.
2. Look at more Art, and culture in general. I still can't believe I missed gravity.
3 Tweet once a day.
4. More phyiscal exercise (more than none)
5. Cook a meal once a week. Eat less meat too.
6. Debauch less, while maintaining relationships. (this one will be tricky)
7. Meet more people.
8. Read more books. Even trashy books are better than bloody buzzfeed lists.
9. Listen to a new album once a month. Not necessarily new, but new to me.
10. Focus.

1. What did you do in 2012 that you'd never done before?
One night stand. It was alright.

2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Sort of. I lost a stone through general under eating but it seems to be from everywhere but my belly. The doctor has told me I need to put it back on though, so I’ll need a better plan if I’m to shift this unsightly fat. I definitely got better at the CGI stuff by becoming a professional. That was pretty cool. *smugface*

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My friend Daniel had a son. He’s very cute.

4. What countries did you visit?

5. What would you like to have in 2014 that you lacked in 2013?
More free time, some sort of relationship. I’m pretty unlucky when it comes to the ladies.

6. What date from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Starting at StartJG was pretty momentous. No weddings or owt like that though this year.

7. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
New Job.

8. What was your biggest failure?
Keeping up with friends, the move in with Dawn was a pretty spectacular failure.

9. Did you suffer illness or injury?

10. What were the best things you bought?
New beast computer is amazing.

11. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
David Meller, for making the decision to be happy.

12. Whose behaviour appalled you?
No ones really.

13 Where did most of your money go?
Rent, marks and spencer salads. I seriously need to start taking lunch into work.

14. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
New job (again)! Primevera was good too.

15. What song will always remind you of 2013?
Probably that stupid wrecking ball song

16. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder?
Much happier, for certain.

ii. thinner or fatter?

iii. richer or poorer?
About the same as I was last year. Despite earning more money.

17. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Self directed work, Violin, cycling.

18. What do you wish you'd done less of?
faffing about online reading shit, drinking.

19. How will you be spending Christmas?
I spent it with my parents.

20. Did you fall in love in 2013

21. What was your favourite TV program?
Breaking Bad was good

22. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No, not hate.

Nothing really stands out, slowly plodding through Great expectations.

24. What was your greatest musical discovery?

25. What did you want and get?
More material possessions.

26. What did you want and not get?
Spiritual awakening

27. What was your favourite film of this year?
Erm, Probably The Selfish Giant, that was great.

28. What did you do on your birthday?
I went out for a birthday meal at sandbar. I accidently invited too many people and it just led to me becoming totally stressed out. This year I’m just gonna get drunk.

29. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
More free time in which to do stuff, not just zoned out on the sofa.

30. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
Cardigan crew REP-RE-SENT

31. What kept you sane?

32. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Victoria Coren. Again.

33. What political issue stirred you the most?
The government are a gang of self-serving, greedy, complete arseholes.

34. Who did you miss?
Absent friends.

35. Who was the best new person you met?
Some of the new guys at work are pretty cool.

36. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2012.
The power of positive thinking. Also, taking chances can often pay dividends, I’ve found if you sort of choose where you’re willing to fail, then taking risks in other areas becomes much easier.

37. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year:
Ding dong the witch is dead.
