Hello, all.

Christ, It's April already. I'm back living with my parents again now, doesn't look like I'll be moving anytime either as I can't afford the rent on a  place. Oh well.

Still working at RTA. It's starting to bite a little bit now. Even the interesting work has become a little boring, and no one else is doing Admin yet. Here's hoping this futureworks course leads somewhere, eh?

Speaking of everything else I'm doing at the moment, it's all driving me a bit insane. Something else I really miss about working at college is the holidays. You can catch up on life and have a bit of time to oneself. Yeah, not anymore. All this everything else isn't helping either.

There was an interesting David Mitchell opinion piece in the Guardian today. It was about aspiration, about wanting to change for the better. About how even admitting you aren't happy with yourself is a sign of failure. I suppose another issue would be that; what happens after you've changed? After you've got the new job and the new body and the new life. What then?

Urgh, that's enough of this.

You continue to find new things you want to accomplish and work towards. Doesn't necessarily have to be about money or fame, most reasonable people who end up in that situation get to a point where they've had enough of material success and put their efforts into charity work (Gates, Buffet, etc).

The important thing is to pick something to work towards and enjoy the ups and downs of the journey, the anticipation is more pleasurable than the retrospection anyway; http://psycnet.apa.org/?&fa=main.doiLanding&doi=10.1037/0096-3445.136.2.289 - pick some audacious goal (the kind where other people say you're a fantasist or idiot for wanting to do that) and run at full speed towards it, because the only other option is to sit around and slowly die.

On that happy note, hope you're well :) Loved that you mentioned Black Mirror and All Watched Over... in one of your posts, best things on last year by far.
